You can't play music too loud in many of the Japanese domiciles. They also like low powered amps. Since the Radian drivers are designed for pro environments, I doubt they are as fragile as the Fostex super tweeters. A lot of the treasured Altec-Lancing compression drivers have aluminum diaphragms.
