Use CARA to model your room and find out where your nodes line up. With four cornerhorns, you'll have a very large listening area that is uniform throuout the bass. Even with just two cornerhorns, there is a large area of uniformity. In either case, response above the modal region is uniform throughout the room.

Bass traps are dampers. Framed drywall construction tends to make highly damped rooms too. If your listening room is of framed drywall construction, it may already be highly damped. In a sense, the drywall and the fiberglass behind your walls forms a built-in bass trap.

You can include room damping in your CARA model, or remove damping to exaggerate room modes to see them better.
