Paralleling capacitors

You can just add capacitors in parallel and sum up their values for a composite value. This is part of the theory behind using small value but high quality bypass capacitors. You can use multiple caps to get to any value you want. When paralleling caps, their voltage limit stays the same. Series connection of capacitors will raise the voltage capacity but REDUCE the capacitance (product/sum, like paralleling resistors).
