There are two loudspeaker criteria that are important for SET owners in addition to the usual matters of sound quality. One is efficiency and the other is impedance. You need high efficiency because amplifier power is limited and impedance peaks should be as small as possible because amplifier output impedance is fairly high. If there are big peaks in impedance, they will interact with the amplifier and be manifested as peaks in response.
