I have absolutely no doubt that $400 cables can change the sound of your system, and in some cases, for the better. The question is, by how much? and can you better spend the $400 in others ways to increase the enjoyment of your system?
Forget the cable, buy more CD's instead. Law of diminishing returns applies to everything. Sometimes, good enough is good enough.
