She is another musician I found out about while I was in NOLA. She reminds me of Bonnie Raiit on piano instead of slide guitar. I like her voice and her music. Her album The Bottom Line was like putting on my favorite T-shirt from the first time I heard it. Call it comfort music I guess 
Except it contains no trans fats or cholesterol.
I ordered my album from her website and when it arrived there was a picture of her with a nice note thanking me for buying her music. I realize this isn't earth shaking in these times but it makes it easier to connect with someone who takes the time to say thanks and Hi.
