I finally watched this flick last night after seeing Flags of Our Fathers. It blew Flags away. Where Flags seemed to focus on the story of the flag raisers after the war, Letters focuses on the actual battle--from the Japanese point of view. One of the best war movies I've seen since Private Ryan.
