Hi all!
Big dilemma!

firstof all may i say, that the small graph makes the differences look small, when i think it infact is large differences here.

i have 2 horns designed and cad'd
Im not particularly bothered about superlows-because i know these 32hz notes only appear on SOME music,so the practicality is lower(eg royaldevice.com overkill)

i know il be happy with the 37hz horn-but if i build that horn, and then could i then think,i shudve gone the deepest i couldve,29hz?

Note- the 37hz horn has 40Litres wasted space,so its actualy ~ slightly better, but i just cant optimise it anymore.

The shape of the 29hz horn bothers me,i really like the 37hz horn shape, with alot of depth and not much height.

It comes down to Likes really :-)
the actual volume differs only slightly.
And dont worry about powerhandling,im within xmax all the way down to the horn cutoffs :-) THe 29hz horn can handle 240w only down to 34hz where it exceeds xmax, and peaks at 16mm @ 27hz cutoff (ofcourse) which is near my jbl xmech. Subsonic filtering required!

My plate amp has sallenkey EQ already,at 5db at 35hz,il be able to play around with that to match the sub.

29hz horn

18mm MDF.Bracing on the mouth will definately be important.

Cheers!
