Digikey's part number DN2540 was a small inductor for $0.66. My bad.

However, Mouser does carry the DN2540 (Supertex MOSFETs - Depletion Mode N-Channel TO-220 400V 25Ohm) at $1.83 (<100.) This is what we want, right?
