Long time... no talk... Buy some $9 rabbit ears from Radio Shack or some other store. That will help reception quite a bit over your wire. Hook it to the 300 ohm pair. Mods to the 7500 make a totally different (better) sound. With our latest mods, which adds Ray's passive de-emphasis circuit, it brings it over the top IMO. It's pretty much a hands down winner.
