Now I'll wire up the rear panel. The first thing I must do is to solder two 4" black wires and one 4" green wire onto the power connector to provide power and earth ground. A couple of smaller black jumper wires are used to connect the fuse.
Now press the power connector into the chassis and install the speaker output terminals. Be sure to unscrew the plastic nuts out all the way first, and don't forget the locktite. Position the solder lugs pointing up, with the chasis positioned upside down. Next, cut two 16" coax signal cables and two 19" cables. Take the coax supplied and fold it in half, cutting it in the middle. Then take the two pieces and cut 16" from each one. The remaining piece will be 19" long. Strip about 1/2" of insulator around the shield, and 1/8" of the insulator for the tip. Remove the RCA plug shield lugs and solder one to the shield of each coax cable. Tin the center conductor so it is easy to insert into the center lug of the RCA plug. Install the RCA connectors into the backpanel, using locktite. Remember to be careful not to get any on the paint. The longer pair of wires are the ones on the left, as you look at the bottom of the chassis with the front towards you. Next we'll wire up the connectors and the front panel.
