I spoke to Mike at length about a year and a half ago when he claimed Doug was improperly using his trademark and other IP. I did some research at that time and found that he does not have trademark rights to the Peerless name in Class 9 (electronics). Mike has rights to a logo that looks like a transformer with a "P" beside it. The word mark "Peerless" is not currently registered in Class 9, but Tymphany, the company that makes Vifa, ScanSpeak and Peerless drivers, has been using the name in Class 9 commerce longer than Mike LeFevre has. So Mike does not have trademark rights to the Peerless name by first use, registration, agreement or license.
