See when one party is in control; then everyone who is not part of that group is guilty. So when they access your phone records you lose your job/friends/home/etc. Like what happenned here during the red scare and lots of innocent people lost everything because of government snooping and suspician. They didn't do anything wrong; just belonged to the wrong club.
