Maybe I am a slow study, but I didn't know you had your own Forum!
I remember you from Audio Asylum, back when you were in New Orleans.
I admired your "leap of faith" in moving out to Idaho!
You have always had the respect and admiration of every audiophile I know.
Unlike some purveyors of equipment, who come across as only on the Internet to sell somebody something, me and everyone I know thinks of you as "one of us" who just happens to make a living in Audio.
My friend Deetes is like that too man.
I haven't spoken to Deetes in years, but last time I did, he was raving excitedly about some speaker he had heard.
Knowing full well I wasn't a potential customer either.
Just a marketing tip Duke, have you ever considered putting your picture on your Audiokinesis web site ?
Or maybe a picture gallery of you, and some other audiophiles sitting around listening to stuff ?
There are free, or very low cost photo hosting sites around, and you could simply place a link to the pictures on your web site.
I am SURE you follow up on ALL your customers, and when you do, you could ask them to send digital photo's of their speakers in their homes
?
Then, you could "create" a happy Sound Labs Owners Gallery, and an Audiokinesis Owners Gallery, showing speakers you have sold or made in a happy home setting ?
It is one thing to display a picture of Sound Labs, Etc, in your store, but for a customer to actually SEE them in a home setting is powerful medicine I think.
At any rate Duke, I hope you have great success in Idaho.
Chris
