Okay, something that in my opinion matters for a woofer intended for use up into the midrange region is having a shorted motor assembly. On a previous (ultimately unsuccessful) custom woofer project, at one time I was able to compare woofers that were virtually identical except that one had a shorting ring in its motor. That one had better upper midrange clarity.
You might consider the B&C 10NW64, which has a copper capped pole piece (functions similar to a shorting ring from what I understand). Here's a link so you can see if the parameters look workable:
