Thanks again for the reply - your explanation makes perfect sense. In my current design I use dipole mids and there is definitely a fall off in the low mids and upper bass which requires correction using the Tact. A three way system will reduce my amplification needs and I now better understand why the Nola design requires a larger upper bass/low mid driver.
