This has been touched on in the past but I am curious to know how others have set up their arrays.
I have my tweeters inside, speakers are 3.1m (about 10') apart from mid-point of tweeter to mid-point of opposite tweeter. Listening position is 3.2m away thus approx an equilateral triangle.
Arrays are about 1m from side wall and 2.2m from front wall. Room is 7.2m long, 5.1m wide and 2.9m high. Front wall and front third of side walls have absorption panels.
I am curious to know if any of you are using even wider listening angles, even up to 90 degrees as measured from listening position, and how you find the sound with this.
Dr Griffin, I would appreciate your views on this if you read this.
