The next job was to cut the woofer holes and make the recess for flush mounting the horn.
The woofers were pretty easy. I used a Jasper Jig mounted on a plunge router to make the recess then the through hole. For a 4012 HO woofer I went with the 11 1/1...

You definitely want the Rs resistor installed and the C1 capacitor removed. This provides the best response. Of course, you can always leave C1 in place, but doing that gives a slightly tilted-up response, totalling about 3dB more at the very top end.
