Greetings,

I have an Akai AP-A1, and automatic power that drives the turntable seems to be backward.

In other words, when the arm is in its resting place, the table turns on, and when you go to move it to the edge of the record it turns off, and when it gets to the center, it turns back on.

Any ideas?

Thanks!

Dan

Check the rest switch. Maybe it has just been miswired, connected to the normally closed lead instead of the normally open one.
