I've been looking for a Japanese edition of Bill Evans' 'Paris Edition II' live album from 1981 for a long time.

Last month I succeeded finding one through discogs (which I can recommend) shipped express with UPS from Tokyo. It landed here in Denmark 32 hours later. Impressive.

It's not the most quiet recording, but the high notes are wonderful as is Evans' general flow.

Hello, it's me again Smile

I found out that the cover contains an interview with Bill Evans and Kim Aikin in Contemporary Keyboard that hasn't been published online, and it's difficult to get a copy of the magazine from 1980.

So I've published the most interesting passages here, shoud someone stumble on this thread.

And here's a photo of the the albums front showing the gardens of Château de Sceaux around 10 miles from the center of Paris. A place I'd like to visit.
