Has anyone seen the commercial for Hum by Verizon? I saw this for the first time last night and this looks like a great product. It reminds me a lot of OnStar, which I had in a previous vehicle, but it seems to be a lot cheaper. Would you give it a try if you were given the opportunity?

Yes I saw it. No I'm not going to use anything like it. A number of reasons. One it can be hacked. Two you need a Verizon account (I use Sprint). Three...do you really want a third party knowing what you are doing, where you are going and such. I see all sorts of problems with that..for example targeted advertising. Stolen identity. I figure that the advantages of it are few and those I can already do with a smart phone.
