Cound be the Single Ended Tube forum. We've had that discussion before, and it's pretty much cool with everyone I think.

Damir, There is now a "Group Build" DIY forum. The first project will be a 5861 tube-based preamp....Colin

I'm lost. What difference would changing the name from SET Forum to Single Ended Forum really make? It DOESN'T Say Single Ended Triode forum, it says SET Forum. SET could stand for Single Ended Tubes no? Besides to the best of my rather limited knowledge(when it comes to DIY or repairing amps)most EVERY tube can be wired as a Triode no? So even "IF" SET Forum stood for Single Ended Triodes, if you had wired a multi-grid valve like the 6550 in Triode mode it would still qualify, no? Had I come to Audio Roundtable with an amplifier using 6550's wired as a Single Ended amp I would have looked here to make a post. Am I missing something or is this just the semantics of words? Lastly "IF" this becomes a forum that encompasses every single-ended design, I believe it would become to broad. After all what does my 845 Single Ended Triode or my 6550 triode wired amp have to do with Nelson Pass's solid state single-ended designs? Just my 2 cents worth.
