Do you play an instrument? I have this urge to try and tap into my musical side but I don't know what kind of instrument to go for. Are some easier than others?

I think the guitar is pretty easy. Most people learn by learning the chords first, and that's just finger placement. Then again, some people think wind instruments are the easiest.

I would think that the bass would be the easiest. That only has 4 strings doesn't it? You can actually get an 8 to 12 string bass guitar, but those are usually custom made.

I agree that the guitar is probably one of the most easiest instruments to learn. I've always wanted to learn how to play the bagpipes myself.
