Grand Master
Which is something you may have a vague idea of but not sure. You know those 3-5.00 cd's in the special racks

I bought one on Andes music and it turned out to be a winner. It's not all flute & pipe music. A varied assortment which is supposed to be all traditional music. Some vocals and the rest are instrumentals. It starts out with El Condor Pasa which most assume S&G wrote but didn't

Then I bought a Cletic cd and it's ok but whoever recorded the nature sounds is tone deaf. The rain sounds exactly pops & cracks on a well used LP

Then there is the Chuck Mangione 20th Century Masters. Some nice versions of his more popular stuff and then a few oddball vocals thrown in to test your patience.

So far the best S.I.D. was buying Blackmores Knight cd Ghost of a Rose. It's hard to describe you have to listen to it a few times. Lots of subtle things going on in it.

Illuminati (2nd Degree)
You mean annoying crap like The Pink Panther theme?

Our local public radio had a call in show on last week
for people to give their most annoying overplayed and
cliched tunes from over the years.

My number one dive to turn of the radio or volume is
"My Funny Valentine."

Wait.

I see your point now: buying things blind. I take a lot of
chances on videos/dvds but rarely if ever on audio.

One cd I did get just for the title was called "Diner-Mite"
at the Best Buy. It had all swing tunes on it about food
by Cab Calloway, Slim Gaillard, and lots of other novelty tune
artists of the period.
