I was sorry to hear about Amy Winehouse's passing. OK, we really shouldn't be surprised, given her history, but I always hoped she was going to snap out of it!

Yeah, I'm of two minds. I found some of her music interesting, and since I knew she was an addict, I hoped she would hit a bottom and get into recovery. But then again, her "bottom" was death, which isn't uncommon for an addict. They leave grieving friends and families in their wake.

I liked Amy Winehouse's music and it's tragic that her talent is now gone forever. I can't say I am terribly surprised though; she was really in a downward spiral.
