There's lots of good music here mentioned that deserves some good discussion. Why do we like that music? What does it mean to us?
This looks like traffic pumping.

Well, keeping it close to home, I could use some good
classical and easily findable recommendations for
a speaker build I have going called the BIB--
Bigger Is Better originally made by Terry Cain.

I'm not following the build principles by the letter
since I don't have a lot of tools, but this build is
supposed to really put out.

Also curious what sort of twelve volt battery to use
with a Sonic Impact T-amp.

I use a 2 amp wall-wart. They say the more current the better they sound. I tried a cheap Ratshack 1.5 amp unit and I do believe the 2 amp sounds more ballsy but who knows.
Electratig has really good reviews of classical music on this site. I bought a couple of his rec's and am very happy; the Shostokovich is now one of my favorite CD's.

Ok. So what's the name of the Electro site?

What I wanted was some broad spectrum work which I wasn't
familiar with so I'd get a good test. It's easy to say everything
sounds fine when you are playing your old faves. It's something
I'm trying to cure myself of.

As to 12 volters, I see some setups using what looks like
a Die Hard(c) from Tripplite or someplace. Would the walwart
produce any noticeable hum?

Electratig is one of our own! Look on the Music And Movies Forum for past archived articles he did. Thats his thing; exposing us to music not usually heard. He has about ten reviews of which I picked up six and enjoy them all.
The wal-wart introduces no hum at all; I purchased mine from Parts Express; the 2amp version isn't that common. If you want to go to a small motorcycle battery or something it means doing some soldering.

The way you said made it sound like 'his own website."

Anyway, was that the special one recommended by
Parts Express for $27 or whatever?

BTW, we at this ISP have a big headache with Parts
Express that won't go away. It won't load. I say
we because another subscriber is running into the same problem.

I've contacted the company with no response, but I haven't
needed anything from them lately.

Did you tell them you need to place orders and you can't? That usually gets their attention.
Yes that is the wall-wart I use.

Yes, I called the place and got no reply.

If I got on the order line with an actual order, I might
have made some progress.

I get mail notifications from them for new flyers and such,
I'm on the catalog mailing list, but nothing whenever I try
to open the site. The ISP says it's not a problem with
filtering and such.

I am on the site now. I use Mozilla or Firefox whatever it's called. No problemo. Maybe because you are on a non-windows operating system?
