The frequency response curve [see image URL] published by JBL for the 2426/2370 does not seem to exhibit the 6 dB/octave decline that has been described in other posts as typical of CDs. Is CD compensation required for this combo?

Also, what range of crossover frequencies works best with the 2426/2370 when crossed over to a JBL 2226 in a 3.0 cu ft cabinet tuned to 40 Hz? I'm thinking that the 1600 Hz point in the Four-pi might be an accommodation for the H290 Horn???

Thanks,
ccvogel

Measure the 2426/2370 combo and see what you come up with.
