Hi could I get the plans for the Pi 4s that use the 2226h? I want to try to employ the high pass crossover on my Selenium 205ti, Klipsch 604 compination.

Also has anyone had any luck crossing the 2226h over below 1khz?

for the 205Ti driver. The fr chart shows them starting to drop off in level below 1.2 or 1.5kHz., down at least 4dB by 1000Hz, probably horn flare dependent to some degree, the ferro fluid should help when operating closer to Fs(did not notice the spec) by damping the resonance some. The 4 Pi Pro's run the 2226H's out to 1.6kHz. without problems, why not just cross at 1.2kHz/12dB/octave like selenium says? Sam

Some people find the Professional Series a little thin with SET amps under 10 watts. Others find they work just fine, so I suppose it depends on what amp you're using. For low power SET's, you generally can't go wrong with Theater Series four or seven π, or the Studio or Thermionic Series speakers.

I've used the 2226h in 3.5 cubic ft box with SETs from 1 watt to 18 watts with good results. However a 55 watt 6550 P-P is incredable!!!

My complaint with the 2226hs is the midrange more than bass. They have very smooth flat midrange but a little dull sounding at low levels. It takes a few watts to liven them up.

I would recomend a 15 watt P-P 6B4G as the starting point. If you can't play music that loud consider a livelier speaker. The PI 2s look good also Hammer dynamics get good press.
