This not my auction, nor do I know or represent the seller, just thought it was interesting is all.

Fred Ireson really digs those speakers. Interesting looking, aren't they? Like an oddly-shaped bandpass sort of.

Nice link Noidster! The KArlson cabinet has gotten very mixed reviews, with most people saying it's a bad design.
I have never heard or measured one, so I can't comment, but I thought others may want to do a web search on karlson cabinets before bidding on the item.

Yeah, I have never heard the design but sure like the look. I posted the auction because I like the look, plus this guy's friend looks to have done a good job on them as well.

Hey Wayne, any Floridians running your kit speakers that you know of?

Yeah I would guess just from looking at them a bit that they would seem to be a "not-so-perfect" design. But then again as I noted in response to Wayne, I have never heard them so I just cannot say here.

Yes, there are some π Speakers owners living in Florida. I can't thnk of any that are particularly active on the audio messageboards though. If you're interested, I'll write to them and ask them to contact you.

Wayne, please do have them contact me as son as they can. I am very interested in hearing their projects (your speaks), and possibly getting one or two of them to rescheduled DIY2005 Orlando event. You can just have them call me at ThreeTwoOne-SixSevenSix-NineSevenOneTwo or e-mailme at Noidster@Bellsouth.net

Thanks,

Chuck
