Whoever's got access to the Embassy group page should be able to see who has booked a room already. Typically most all those booked already will be there. That will give everyone a fairly reliable guess to the number of exhibitors.

That's a great idea, Shane. Do you know how to access that page? Is there a public URL we can all see?

Whoever set up the contract for the block of rooms should have received an access code, etc...... I know I did for the two years I did it.

I should know that then, as I've always been a contact too. But I don't guess I've ever seen a page like that. I always got a printed copy of the exhibitors list on Saturday. I'll check the emails and see if I can find a link.

Whomever is your contact at Embassy should have set up a LSAF e-event page where you can check confirmed rooms and reservation names. Just give them a call and they should be able to tell you the info. There should be an event name, password, event/hotel code, etc... that you'll have to enter.

Oh, I see, gotcha. Pretty much the same thing they print out for us on Saturday, but now they make it available online. I'll ask them for that link, because it would be really convenient.

On Thursday, I'll start an LSAF 2011 thread and put room numbers for every exhibitor on the first page, just like we did last year. As people check-in, and they are assigned rooms, we'll be able to know that information and will make it available. We can put photos of the gear in each room in that thread too.

I'm getting pretty psyched. Seems like it always hits me the last day or two before the show, when I start making the list of stuff to bring, making final preparations and getting ready...

You're awesome Wayne. I'm getting ramped up too, TONS of boxes in the front room ready to go, I hope I can do it all in one trip in the Suburban.

Definately bringing my own dolly though. Last time, I did get a luggage cart, but it had a flat tire. It was like dragging the gear in a big sack up to the room.

Cheers,
Russ

That's a great idea. Most of my stuff can be handled by one man, but the speakers are a little large. You can do it by yourself, but it's easy to get off-balance and bump something. Not so good on the finish.

I'll be there Thursday afternoon, so if you need some help loading in, come grab me. I shouldn't be too hard to find. Smile

I'll be checking in Thursday also, so if anyone needs a hand I'll be right there with Wayne also.

As an aside, I have extra Polk speakers, and Cardas cables (interconns and speaker) if anyone needs them to show, just say the word.

Cheers,
Russ

Last night I wrote Embassy Suites asking for the room list and they replied back with a PDF file. So I just started a "formal" LSAF 2011 thread and posted the list there.

It's time!

Hi guys,

First time poster here.

We will be there to support our dealer, Nhan Hoang of PhenomeNhanav, to show Melody products and our own Trinity speakers.

Hope to make new acquaintances while we're there.

Thanks,
