Re: Bone conduction headphones
Madison, she seems to want them because it would make swimming and listening to podcasts easier. We have a pool, but we don't have any outdoor speakers yet. I guess bone conduction headphones aren't a gimmick after all. But are they as uncomfortable as t...

Re: An outdoor home theater
I have never thought about this but now that you have mentioned it, setting up and outdoor home theater might be a brilliant idea during summer. Have you thought about the kind of display and speakers to use?

Re: Poolside speakers
I think that will depend on how big your pool area is. I read in an outdoor speaker placement guide that you're supposed to have a speaker to cover each zone in your outdoor area, ideally.

Outdoor setups?
What are the best outdoor setups for speakers? So many of the built-in setups sound tinny unless you spend real money, so are there any quick tips you can give me to make outdoor sound sound better?

Re: Midbass slam
If your subs integrate well with your tiny mains, I think you may be fine. In my past experience, I had a hard time doing that- Around 3 years ago, I built/owned a typical hifi set of speakers with dual scan speak 6" woofers per cabinet- https...

Re: Bathroom acoustic
I believe I would consider some outdoor weather proof speakers and a simple amp with blue tooth. Feed it the signal from another room to minimize possible harm to the equipment. Check out Parts Express on the web for things that can do the above.

Re: Outdoor listening
I really like the look of these, Kingfish. They would make a nice addition to my yard and it's great that you can't really tell that they are speakers. It would be nice if they had a wireless option, though.

Re: Having many speakers
I know what you mean. There's a pizza place I really like to eat at over in the next town, and they have an outdoor area with tables, speakers, a TV, etc. It seems like we always get a table close to one of the speakers and when the TV is on or a live band...

Re: Audio At A Wedding
The venue will likely set up the music for her; all she has to do is select the songs she wants. When I got married in an outdoor ceremony, they just had some speakers on stands. I never saw the mixer.
