Do you find yourself following certain local bands? Of course I have certain "big name" groups that I follow, but we have some locals here in town that are pretty good. A couple of friends and I follow them wherever they are playing. The band loves the support!

I don't support any local bands, only because I haven't ran across any in my area. Otherwise, I'd be more than happy to support my local bands.
