My unheated cottage had plenty of room for the Batspeakers converted to subwoofers but in this cozy (12x15 listening room)townhouse, no way. Actually, I need subwoofers, now that I have neighbors on either side, like I need another......

So I cut about 14" off the top down to 2.8 cubic feet and they remain sealed. They were always only 13" deep so they'll go against a wall w/o taking away too much. The Win ISD plot is even better, somehow, if it can be trusted, with a shallower roll-off and lower F6, 23 Hz. I have a piece of shiny black formica I've also had laying around so the fronts, sides and top will get covered and they'll look decent.

They'll probably wind up at my daughters house whenever they get around to setting up the home theater room the house has. IN the meantime, I'm getting drivers and plate amps off the piled-high shelves Laughing

Nice!

You know, I kind of like the look of black formica cabinets. I think that sub is gonna be awesome!
