Greetings Wayne,

Would it be possible to get both the Three and Four Pi plans? I'd like to study up on both models before I decide for sure on which to build. Thanks in advance!

Please choose one first and I'll send plans when you do.

The boxes are close to the same size, the tonal balance is about the same and the patterns are similar too. The biggest difference is the four π is about 3dB louder at the same voltage drive.

Most people choose one or the other based on the driver families available. The top-of-the-line three π loudspeaker uses the Acoustics Elegance TD12S woofer and the high-end four π speaker uses the JBL 2226. So you're choosing between AE and JBL when you make the decision.

I've read from your previous posts that the Fours are 3 dB more efficient and I definitely need that when using my 45 and 2A3 amps. I was just waffling a little bit because I was so intrigued of maybe trying the smaller, faster 12" AE and comparing it to the 15" in my Altec 19s.

With that being said, I think I'll opt for the model Fours.

Thanks Wayne.
