Does anyone still listen to transistor radios? I have one that my grandfather gave to me when I was a small child. I still love listening to it. It is amazing to me that, as old as it is, it still works.

Ooh that's a sweet transistor radio! When I was little my grandmother had like 2 or 3 of these radios, one was pretty big! They looked awesome.

My mother threw them all away. Said that "old things must go and make way for new". If I was older I would've manipulated her so I can keep them!

That is a neat radio. How old is it exactly? At first glance I thought it was a Walkman! Perhaps this was the same kind of thing way back when.

Oh btw Wayne, I just noticed you posted photos of your radios up. Geez quite a collection there. That's your site? They sure look mighty gorgeous! I was swooning away. I simply love anything that looks old and classy! Oh boy I would like one of those radios. That 1940 RCA Victor Model 36X, especially. Beautiful. Ahh.

I also enjoyed the pictures of the radios. What a wonderful job you have done Wayne on that Stewart Warner model. How long did it take you altogether?
