Please forgive me, in as much as I'm "Currently Inebriated", but if you have a mother to remember on Mother’s Day I highly recommend “The Prize Winner of Defiance Ohio”

A simply fabulous story, for anybody.

And if you’re headed out to a restaurant or hotel, don’t leave until you read “Nickel and Dimed”. You’ll never tip the same way again.

Cool deal, I'll check them out. Have you ever read any of Richard Bach's books? On a lighter (but still pseudo-philosophical) note, how 'bout Douglas Adams?

I thought Richard Bach was a pseudonym for Stephen King? I’m fairly sure I’ve read one or two under that name. But I’ve not heard of Adams before.

Richard Bach wrote Johnathan Livingston Seagull and Illusions. Douglas Adams wrote the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy.

His pseudonym was Richard Bachman (you've got to admit I was close).

Nope, never read either author. I guess I'm more into non-fiction, although I did read "The DaVinci Code" and "Angels and Deamons" recently. Not too bad at all, although "The DaVinci Code" was certainly the weaker of the two, by far.
