David McBean wrote me this evening to announce a new version of his Hornresp program, v.3.10. It is available for download now, and can be reached from the Pi Speakers website. This is a description of the changes:
Hornresp can now also analyse the Salmon family of hyperbolic-exponential horns. The full range of flare values can be considered - from 0.00 for catenoidal through 1.00 for exponential to 99999.99 (infinity) for a conical horn. (Note that the flare parameter FLA only becomes visible when option HYP is selected). A tool to display horn schematic diagrams has also been developed and incorporated into the program. All dimensions are accurately scaled and proportionally correct (that is, squares are displayed "square" and horn mouth included angles are truly represented).
