i have just been given a laney 100w BASS amp cabernet that i think is about 30 years old,it looks well used but i know it works, my question is, what type of head do i need to use, does it haft to be matching in brand and model, or just watts. thanks

It can be anything you like as long as you don't over power the
cabinet.
