Hi.

Can I use the JBL2225H in the 7pi ?

I can buy 4 of them used for about $560, is this a good price or should I try to get a better price ?

For JBL's own systems, the 2226 is the modern version of the 2225 and considered a drop-in replacement.

I would say the differences would be subtle at most!

Yes, you can substitute the JBL 2225 for the 2226 in the seven π loudspeaker.

Hi Wayne.

Ended up buying 6 working 2225H and one where the voicecoil is burned for $650.

Should I leave the port the same as in the Audiophile Pi7 ?

When doing simulations of the Eminence Magnum15HO and the JBL2225H in JBL Speakershop, they model very close.

I use 65 litre with 140cm2 x 38cm long port, is this correct ?

The cabinet for the Audiophile series seven π will work just fine with a JBL 2225. No changes necessary.
