Hi Wayne,

I finally have a couple of weeks to start cutting wood. I don't know if drivers or plans have changed over the last year, so I just want to make sure that I have the latest version of the plans.

Please send me plans for Pi Seven Cornerhorns for use with Eminence Delta 15 drivers.

I had problems receiving large files at my hotmail addy last time. If I have problems again, I'll reply to your email with another addy offline. Thanks.

Gorgeous site, Wayne!

Thanks Wayne. They came through fine.

Question: You show a vent that's 3-1/4" deep and your plans specify 3/4" plywood.

I know it will end up weighing a ton, but I'm using 1" mdf. So

1. Are the vent length and width dimensions inside or outside?
2. Should I shorten up the depth of the vent by 1/4"?
3. Should I move the vent location 1/4" away from the side and bottom?
4. I maintained inside dimensions for the overall width, length and height of the speaker, adding 1/2" to each overall. Is this correct?

Thanks again!

The port should be 3.25" long from entrance to exit, so if the baffle is 0.75" thick, then make the duct 2.5" long so the total length is 3.25". Likewise, if the baffle is 1" thick, then make the duct 2.25" long. That's if you butt the tube right up to the baffle. If you insert the tube flush with the baffle, then naturally it should be 3.25" long. Whatever you have to do to make the duct 3.25" long overall, entrance to exit, that's what you should do.

Thanks Wayne - you da best (nt) [message #43603 is a reply to message #43601] Thu, 08 January 2004 14:20 Go to previous message
