Hy Wayne . I was looking several CD tweeters and some use a small vc 1.5 others 2 inch vc and other as the jbl 2446H with four in. vc .what do you recommend bigger vc ,1 inch exit or 2 inch exit. This voice coils size remember me of the very successful six inch Morel woofer with a whooping 3 in vc.

I use only 1" exit compression drivers, which typically have a 1.5" to 2" voice coil. All things being equal, bigger voice coils are better because they have greater thermal capacity. But all things aren't equal - bigger voice coils have greater mass and that kills top end extension - not something you want in a tweeter.
