I have a couple of questions for you diyers out there?? I am looking
at useing the b.g. neo 8's or the neo 3's planner tweeters. Has
anyone used any of theses tweeters?? Are they a close sound to
the maggie planners or no? Second question. I was also looking into
true ribbon tweeters like the raven's. Has anyone use them or heard
them? I hear they are very hard to get to sound right. That's what
parts experss told me and that is why they do not sell them any more.
How do they sound to a planner tweeter. Also why do a lot of diyer's
mod. them after they buy them? If they are not right when you buy
them why buy them you know? I am also looking at kits for both
types of tweeters. What is the best type of speaker driver to use
with theses tweeters. It has to be clean fast and natural. If you
can give some insights of tell me about your past kit's you did or
hi-fi sytems and tweeking that would be great. P.s. I got rid of my
mg 12's because the lower planner woofer keep making a buzzing
noise everytime the bass hit or a rattleing noise. The company said
that was not normal but, I think that is just the way they are.
The treble and bass were at 0 and no loudness button was on.
