That's the same stuff I've used. It's avaliable at local builder and supply stores, and I recommend 2 lb per cubic foot injectable material. A pourable expansion foam is also mentioned in the post called "ten Pi injection foam - VERY IMPORTANT", and it is more like what is usually used as a protective foam in shipping cartons, so is just as effective.You are right that the foam cures to form a rubber-like mass that is compressable. However, do not be fooled by its "low expansion foam" product description. This stuff will still split even very solid panels if introduced into a small cavity where expansion exceeds volume.
