At 5Hz, the 12π is nothing but a small sealed-box loudspeaker system with a bunch of wood around it. The 12π is designed to be used between 30Hz and 100Hz, and while I think it's the most powerful and highest quality speaker within that band, I don't recommend it for use outside that band. Below 30Hz, I'd suggest a direct radiator rather than a horn.
