The midhorn provides about 10dB more than direct radiation into freespace. But remember that the range is basically 200Hz to 2kHz. In that range the driver is probably more like 95dB/W/M in freespace. The average sensitivity is sometimes shown higher because it includes output at high frequencies where collapsing DI and cone flex modes increase output. Average the low frequencies and high frequencies together and the SPL is higher. In a 90x40 midhorn, you should probably expect about 105dB/W/M or so.
