A year ago I built a pair of Pro series 7Pi-18's using JBL 2241's & 2445's. Never knew there was an Audiophile version (my mistake). Would like to know if it's at all practical to add a mid-range driver to this set-up? I'm extremely happy with the sound of these speakers right now using a pair of Odyssey Audio Monoblocks and the Supratek Chardonnay Pre-amp. But the thought of possibly increasing the quality of sound from these corner horns is simply irresistible.
