I have noticed an increase in the noise after having the amp on for 3 - 4 hours. When I put the scope on the speaker terminals, the hum disappears. So I think Wayne's suggestion on the .022uF caps and removal of the 150ohm ground resister will take care of it. Will try these mods real soon.
Unfortunately, BOI is out of stock on the Svetlana tubes and sounds as if they will not be able to get them again. They plan to carry another brand of 6BM8s. I will source some Svetlana 6BM8's elsewhere. I must say they responded to my inquiry real quick, so I think they are probably good to do business with.
